Hello, I am Teacher Candy.
I am from Vancouver, BC and graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
I must say that my homeroom teacher back in elementary school has contributed to my decision in becoming a teacher myself. She was very caring, patient and encouraging, always trying her best to help me.
I have been teaching English to children aged 3 to 11 for almost 7 years and I love sharing my childhood experiences with them. Children tend to retain more information when they enjoy the class so I always try to make my classes fun! I love working with children because it gives me an opportunity to learn from them too! I hope to build confidence in my students so they will find learning English enjoyable.
Hello, I am Teacher Chloe.

During the course of my teaching, I've come to realized that kids learn best when they are in a fun, stimulating, and interactive environment. I strongly believe that it is vital for kids to enjoy as much as they can when they're learning, and as a teacher, that's the kind of environment I hope to create. During my free time, I love to cook, read and travel to different places around the world.

Hello there, I’m Teacher Joy!
I first started training to teach in 2012, where I started off with teaching motor skill development activities for babies as young as 6 months old to grade school – to eventually branching out to teach academic subjects and even hobby classes in preschools and learning centers. It’s both fulfilling and educational for both my students and I alike. I believe in providing as many opportunities for exploration and appropriate optimistic feedback to develop a sense of wonder and confidence in children – which I hope plants a genuine love of learning within them as their inquisitive minds continue to grow! In my spare time, I like to create and teach dance, sing, read and watch movies. See you here in Phonicsland!

Hello, I am Teacher Keimberly
. Teaching a wide range of kids, particularly on writing, reading comprehension and grammar, during my studies has piqued my interest in earning my degree in English at university.
From my experience, a child’s learning experience is heightened when visual aspects are brought into teaching which is why I love to think of new and quirky ways to make my classes more enjoyable. When I’m out and about, I love to go hiking, going to the beach and read mystery novels.
"Hello, I am Teacher Kyomi!
With a Bachelor and Masters degree, I have always believed that it is vital for children to start exploring, learning and stepping out of their comfort zone as early as possible. Youngsters have great abilities and potentials in developing their creativities, shaping their attitudes and their way to see the world! I really love the positive energy brought by children. I would hope to bring the magic of the PLM method to all my students and be a companion to them, and create memories together!

Hi, I’m Tracy!
I was raised in Vancouver, Canada, and after obtaining my bachelor’s degree I moved to Hong Kong to pursue my passion, which is teaching!!!
I feel a sense of joy when I help children achieve their maximum academic potential by focusing on their different aptitudes and skills as well as tailoring their learning experience based on their academic levels and developmental needs.
I’ve taught and organized all sorts of playgroups for children from pre-nursery to kindergarten in subjects including English, Mathematics, Arts and Crafts, and Physical Education. I strongly believe that the best way to enhance and nurture a child’s learning experience is through positive reinforcement, motivating them so that they feel special and unique, and making each class engaging and interesting – and most importantly, fun!
I love kids – they are brilliant, full of boundless energy and each one a unique gem ready to learn with the right guidance. I love working with children and I love my job!
Hi! I'm Teacher Winnie.
I graduated Cum laude with a bachelor's degree, and I have been teaching for several years now. Growing up with a mixed culture and belief, I have been blessed to be able to understand the world’s differences and to be able to see what life brings from west to east. Without the people surrounding me, most especially my family and my closest friends, I wouldn’t have reached and gained what I have now. Yes, life is perfectly imperfect, however, looking back at the experiences I went through, I now can say, I am ready to share what I have – the skills, knowledge, and most of all, love. Always remember to SMILE and be thankful that you have another day to enjoy in this world.
