Hello, I am Teacher Ben. I am originally from USA and have been teaching English in Hong Kong for 14 years.
I believe that learning is a journey that should be fun, rewarding and full of memeorable experiences and achievements. I try to instill in my students a strong sense of confidence in themselves so that they realize they can achieve any goal.
Personally, I love being outdoors, cooking, traveling to exotic places, and photography. I also have a keen interest in science and history.

Hello, I am Teacher Candy.
I am from Vancouver, BC and graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
I must say that my homeroom teacher back in elementary school has contributed to my decision in becoming a teacher myself. She was very caring, patient and encouraging, always trying her best to help me.
I have been teaching English to children aged 3 to 11 for almost 7 years and I love sharing my childhood experiences with them. Children tend to retain more information when they enjoy the class so I always try to make my classes fun! I love working with children because it gives me an opportunity to learn from them too! I hope to build confidence in my students so they will find learning English enjoyable.

Nice to meet you! I have been teaching English to kids age 4 - 14 since I've graduated from university. During the course of my teaching, I've come to realized that kids learn best when they are in a fun, stimulating, and interactive environment. I strongly believe that it is vital for kids to enjoy as much as they can when they're learning, and as a teacher, that's the kind of environment I hope to create. During my free time, I love to cook, read and travel to different places around the world.

I am always passionate about education. I hold a Bachelor degree of Education and a Master’s degree in Comparative Education from the University College of London.
I have taught students from different ages and backgrounds, from Kindergarten to Secondary school; from local students, SEN students to ethnic minority students. To empower a student requires agility, attentiveness and patience, so to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to accompany them finding their own ways to grow and shine.
The learning journey is like an enjoyable adventure to me, and I look forward to going on this lovely adventure with you all:)!

After graduating from the University of Hong Kong , I have spent years traveling the world as a performer for Disney and Assistant Cruise Director for the Princess Cruises. Never forgetting my roots, I have decided to come back to Hong Kong to pursue a lifelong passion of mine, teaching.
English is a fascinating language.I believe that with the right guidance and support, along with a fun and encouraging environment, every child has the potential to succeed in learning any language. I am excited to be a part of your child's learning journey in discovering the beauty of spelling and reading!
During my time traveling the world, I had the privilege to meet people of all ages with different cultural backgrounds. Simply by talking to them and learning their life stories had helped me grow as a person a lot! So if you see me in person, feel free to come up and say hi!

I am Khorina Cruz and I've been a Native English teacher for 5 years having worked at various learning centers and schools in Hong Kong.
Language inspires me. It's a form of art where I can discover creativity and bring out the best of its shape and color. It is fun learning that further motivates me to teach children and see their communication skills develop in their growing years. This spirit of enthusiasm gives me the opportunity to experiment and explore new ideas fully. I have been able to expand and develop my visual communication skills to create more effective and convincing imagery.
My interest in sports has also enabled me to earn board-certified personal training and basic gymnastic skills. This has allowed me to choreograph fun learning activities with interactive breath control exercises to improve the range, volume and speed of speaking of children.
I've also written easy to read, picture by picture stories using popular storybook platforms. I have talents in coloring, drawing and interior desiging, having taken up arts during my college days.
It's a privilege to be a part of Phonics Land and I am looking forward to meeting all the kids!

. Teaching a wide range of kids, particularly on writing, reading comprehension and grammar, during my studies has piqued my interest in earning my degree in English at university.
From my experience, a child’s learning experience is heightened when visual aspects are brought into teaching which is why I love to think of new and quirky ways to make my classes more enjoyable. When I’m out and about, I love to go hiking, going to the beach and read mystery novels.

it's nice to meet you! I am a Native English speaker from the UK with a Bachelors Degree in Design and a TEFL certification. During my time at school I loved learning English as I had a teacher who inspired me with energy that made learning fun and engaging. It enabled me to develop a desire to learn the language well and been a teaching assistant following several years experience of mentoring I believe it is vital for a teacher to help pique an interest in learning, particularly leading children's curiosity towards English as early as possible. I look forward to take part and help kick-start them in the process which is one of the reasons I joined Phonicsplus. Growing up with a mixed culture and belief, I have been blessed to be able to understand the world’s differences and to be able to see what life brings from west to east.
